Talia Reid is shown into an office where the boss wants to know why time runs faster in his room than on the street below. That riddle is the first test in Talia Undercover on Candy Shorts.
Episode 1: gravity, a tour and a thousand colleagues
I sat through both from a free Candy.ai account, captions on. A voice announces Talia Reid and says Mr. Vaughn will see her now. She starts to thank him and is cut off with an invitation to sit. Then comes the riddle about time. The answer is gravity, which earns an approving "Good" and a remark that most people say deadlines. A burst of Latin and a roll call of languages follow, French, German, Arabic and Japanese among them. He asks if she is single, and she says usually. Next he proposes the tour. More than 1,000 people work on this floor, he says, and as his assistant she will earn more and carry more responsibility than ninety-nine percent of them, if she earns it. That line ends the episode.
Episode 2: a flight, a wife and a bathroom door
The second episode moves to the air. Vaughn hopes she is not a nervous flyer and mentions that he flew just under half a million miles last year. Talia wants to know whether assistants earn air miles or only jet lag. Then he introduces Viviana, his wife, with a joke about twenty-three happy years of marriage and some trouble with the timing. Talia says hello and gets a comment about being a brunette, which is a change. She asks for the bathroom and is told to leave the door open. Asked if she is shy, she answers: "Not if you're not." The episode ends on that dare.
The cover story behind Talia Undercover on Candy Shorts
A spy story sits behind the free pair. Talia has not arrived to answer phones. She is there to find out what is going on at a shady international biotech company, and the setup warns that the job holds more than bookkeeping tricks. Neither free episode mentions biotech or an investigation, so the first two read like a new hire meeting an exacting boss and his wife. The undercover angle waits for the paid CandyShorts episodes, outside this review.
Three adults carry the free pair: Talia Reid, the boss Mr. Vaughn and his wife Viviana. All three are invented characters, and no creator twin takes part.
Suggestive talk on Candy Shorts, no bare skin
The series earns a 4 from us, and the porn guide explains the ladder behind that number. The free episodes hold no nudity and no sex. The heat is in what gets said: an assistant asked about her relationship status, a request to leave the bathroom door open and a reply that dares right back. Anything beyond that is behind the episode 2 wall.
Going on means 36 tokens: 12 apiece for episodes 3, 4 and 5. Premium puts 100 tokens a month into a Candy AI Shorts account, which covers the bill, and the pricing guide compares the plans. To see what a basic login includes, read the free episodes guide.
Take the assignment or pass
Take it if you like Candy Shorts office stories where the new hire has a secret and the boss is a step ahead, and you can live with a mystery that the free pair barely touches. Pass if you want the biotech plot told up front, since episodes 1 and 2 are mostly charm and flirting. For more workplace power games, try Under the Boss or YES, DIRECTOR.
