Privacy Policy

Candy Shorts Series sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Your browser keeps one small flag that records your 18+ confirmation, stored on your device and not sent to us. Fonts and images load from this domain, and the web server keeps ordinary logs.

Who runs this site?

Candy Shorts Series is an independent guide run by its author, Alvin. Questions and requests about privacy go to csseriesguide@gmail.com.

Does the site use cookies or analytics?

The site does not set cookies to track you. It runs no analytics service, no advertising network, no social media buttons and no players embedded from other sites, so a visit does not pass your activity to those companies. Since there is no tracking to agree to, there is no cookie banner, only the 18+ screen.

What does your browser store?

One entry in the browser's local storage, written when you press the button on the 18+ screen: a key named ncs_age_ok with the value 1. It lets the site skip the screen on your next visit. It is not a cookie, it stays on your device and it is not sent to the server. Clearing your site data removes it, and the screen then comes back.

The Series Finder on the series page works inside the page, on data the page already holds. Your answers are not stored and not sent anywhere.

Where do fonts and images come from?

From this domain. The two typefaces, Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree, are hosted here, and so are the posters and other images, so loading a page does not contact a font service or an outside image host.

What does the server record?

Like any web server, this one writes a log line for each request. The line holds the IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the response code, the browser's user agent and, when the browser sends it, the page you came from. The logs exist for troubleshooting and security.

What happens when you click a link to Candy.ai?

Links to Candy.ai carry referral parameters, so Candy.ai can credit this site if you subscribe. The parameters name this site, not you. Once you click, your browser leaves this page and loads Candy.ai, which handles your data under its own Privacy Notice and Cookies Notice, published among its legal documents on candy.ai. Read them before you create an account there.

What happens when you write to us?

If you email csseriesguide@gmail.com, I receive your address and your message. I use them to reply and, for a correction, to keep a record of what changed. I do not add your address to a mailing list or hand it to anyone else.

What are your rights?

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Write to csseriesguide@gmail.com and I will reply. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Is the site open to minors?

No. It is meant for adults, and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Will this policy change?

If it does, the new text replaces this one on this page, and the update date shown at the top changes with it.
