Three weeks ago it was a night in Miami with no names and no phone numbers. Tonight the stranger answers his girlfriend's front door, and she is the girlfriend's mother.
Episode 1: flowers for Mrs. Akira
I pressed play on a free account and left the subtitles running. The boyfriend narrates the setup, then his girlfriend makes an introduction: "Mom, meet my amazing boyfriend." He hands over flowers and calls the mother Mrs. Akira, a polite title for a woman he already knows. The girlfriend goes to change for dinner and asks her mother to be nice. Once she is out of earshot, Miami comes up out loud, and both swear they had no idea. They agree the daughter cannot learn about it, and one of them admits to thinking about that night since. Then the daughter asks her mother where her black dress is, and someone points out that he is staring again, just like in Miami. The episode ends on a meeting point: the laundry room, two minutes from now.
Episode 2: the laundry room and a voice that keeps calling
The second episode starts behind that door, where one of them explains the choice of room and the other notes that the daughter is right upstairs. The answer is a shrug and a question about whether he remembers. I will keep to what is said, which is plenty. Then a voice calls him babe and asks for help with a dress, and the name Hannah comes up as the one calling. The mother tells him not to worry about her daughter, since this will not take long. The calls come again, this time for the mother too, followed by a question about whether he is in there. A hush closes the episode, with an invitation to carry on: "Now shall we continue?"
A rule of silence for one evening
The rule for the evening is silence, and the free pair shows how fragile a rule like that is in a house where the daughter is a few steps away. Where the secret goes after the second scene is for episodes 3 to 5, which sit behind the Candy Shorts paywall and outside what this review covers.
Three people in the house
The free pair rests on three characters. The boyfriend, who narrates, stays unnamed in the subtitles. His girlfriend is Hannah, the name that comes up in episode 2 when she calls for him. Her mother is Mrs. Akira and no more than that.
The mother's name and look come from Asa Akira under a license, a digital twin built for the platform, and the real Asa Akira took no part in acting these scenes. The couple are invented adults. The same twin leads My Girlfriend's Step-Aunt Is Asa Akira, a Spicy title, and our creators hub explains how the twins work.
My One-Night Stand Is My Girlfriend's Mom on Candy Shorts: how hot is the laundry room?
It lands on 4 of 5 for us. Put simply, the paid episodes carry adult scenes at length, and both free ones stay dressed, with the heat packed into a laundry-room appointment and a hushed voice. How the five steps differ is laid out in our guide to the scale.
Thirty tokens an episode, ninety to finish
Creator series sit on the higher price, 30 tokens an episode instead of the usual 12, so the last three come to 90. A month of Premium includes 100, which covers that. Plans and their prices live in our pricing guide, and what a free login unlocks on CandyShorts is spelled out separately.
Stay for dinner or skip it?
Stay if tension under one roof is your genre, with a third person close enough to overhear. Skip it if you need the plot to leave the house, since both free episodes stay inside one evening. For the same twist with different terms, try My Girlfriend's Mom, and for a family dinner with house rules, My Girlfriend's Stepmom sits next door. The other Candy AI Shorts titles we reviewed sit in the full catalog.
