What happens in episode 1 of My Girlfriend's Stepmom?
My first look was episode 1 on a free Candy.ai account, and the first voice I heard was Jake's, setting a clock: he found out ten minutes in. Then comes the hello. A woman introduces herself as Dana, Chloe's stepmom. Jake gets about three words out, and Dana tells him to relax. She informs Chloe that she has met her boyfriend already and names the place, the shower. Chloe says her name twice. After about fifteen seconds with no dialogue, the episode closes on a question about whether Chloe told him anything and a two-word invitation, "Come here."
Episode 2: two rules and a two-minute countdown
Episode 2 opens mid-warning. Chloe tells Jake not to freak out, a second voice points out that this is how people start freaking out, and the cause is a family tradition that includes Dana. Jake is told to sit, hold still for two minutes and try not to stare. Dana lays out her terms: rule one, no touching until she says so, and rule two, if he keeps looking at her like that, "we skip rule one." Jake answers in a single word. The two-minute count is passed along once more, and the last ten seconds speed up: Jake asks what is happening, someone says he has seen enough for one day, and the final line orders him not to move.
What the premise adds, and who is in the house
The premise builds on that setup: after the single rule come a blindfold and a family tradition Jake was not warned about, and the clock runs until Dana's husband comes home. By then Jake is the last person in the house to understand the arrangement. Episodes 3 to 5 are paywalled in the CandyShorts player, so my account ends where the free pair ends.
Four characters carry it. Jake narrates and is the newcomer. Chloe, his girlfriend, left out a few details. Dana is her stepmom and the author of the rules, and her husband, Chloe's father, is the deadline. All four are AI-generated, and no creator's digital twin appears in this series.
