I read the subtitles on a free Candy.ai account. The first voice belongs to a woman with a deadline: her husband is coming home in a few hours, and she needs this cleaned before that. Does the handyman get it? He says he does, and then he mutters an unflattering opinion of her. Soon after, he finds a lamp. A voice answers with the title line, "Your wish is my command." He asks whether he gets wishes, and the answer is that he gets anything. He asks her to clean the room. She is appalled. In 400 years, she says, kings, generals and a bishop all asked for gold, and he asked her to finish his shift. She is about to make him an offer, and the episode stops there.
Episode 2: a price he says he does not have
The second Candy Shorts episode is a negotiation. The genie says anything is his, any amount, any time, for as long as he holds the lamp, and she means anything. He keeps saying he is good. Fine, she says, and gets clearer: name a woman, anywhere, and she will be at the door within an hour. She boasts a perfect record at finding a man's price. Maybe he does not have one, he says, and she insists that all men do. Then he admits he does, and when she tells him to name her, he names the genie herself. The episode ends on her question: "So is this what you wish for?"
A billionaire's lamp and a wife at the door
The series setup places the lamp in a billionaire's safe and adds a witness: the billionaire's wife walks in and sees what the handyman is holding. It also states the engine plainly, since the more he refuses, the more the genie wants him to say yes. Episode 2 already runs on it. The witness scene belongs to the paid episodes, and my free account stopped at the genie's question.
A handyman, a genie and a woman with a deadline
None of them gets a name in the subtitles. He is the handyman, and the woman who orders the cleaning is identified by her husband's schedule rather than a name. The setup calls the lamp's occupant a jinniyah, the feminine form of a genie. The cast is adults in a fantasy story, played by generated characters, and no creator's twin takes part on Candy AI Shorts.
