A swimmer goes under, and the first thing the lifeguard tells him on the sand is "Breathe for me." By the end of that episode she has volunteered to train him herself.
Lesson one: a rescue and a job offer
Episode 1 ran about a minute and a half on my Candy.ai login, and it opens mid-emergency. Someone has gone under, a voice calls for help, and Sophie is already coaching the swimmer's breathing. He comes to and asks what happened. A lot of men get in over their heads around her, she tells him, and he admits he does not even know her name. Then the story cuts to the club, where a woman introduces the new cabana hire as her husband's nephew. He is the swimmer from the day before.
The woman plans to put him with the deck crew. Sophie claims him for her own team instead, noting he would not be the first young man she has taught, and receives a reminder to keep things professional. The episode ends when the nephew asks whether she is showing him the ropes. That depends on what he wants to learn, she says.
Lesson two: a water-safety drill with a witness
Episode 2 opens with Sophie and the nephew alone, until a coworker walks in at shift change. The secret is safe with her, she says, though she would like in on it. Sophie sends her to the back of the line: "Get in line, Brooklyn."
Then comes the first official lesson, the club's water-safety certification. Sophie signs off on it personally, waves off the training dummy as useless and makes the nephew her patient. Asked whether this is really club policy, she admits she may just like having him on his back. The episode closes on her announcing that a real lesson is on her mind.
Who runs the beach club, and where does the summer go?
The series sets up a whole season of this: the boss's relative is the new hire, the house rule is professionalism, and Sophie treats the rule as a suggestion. The opening pair lays out the trouble early. A woman with authority has warned Sophie once, and a coworker has noticed. My access ends at the paywall on episode 3, which leaves the rest of the summer unspoiled for anyone starting this Candy Shorts series.
Sophie, the staff and the twin
Sophie is the club's lifeguard, and Sophie Dee is present only as a licensed digital twin: she did not perform in this series. Around her are Brooklyn the coworker, the woman who assigns the staff and the nephew, who has no name in the dialogue. The characters are adults, and the cast is generated. The Sophie Dee profile explains how her twin works.
How far does Under Her Watch go on Candy Shorts?
Neither free episode reaches nudity or sex, and the heat sits in the wording, from the mouth-to-mouth drill to the ropes lesson. We rate it level 4 of five, which means the paid episodes lean heavily on explicit scenes. Details of the ratings live in the explicitness guide. Viewers who stop after the free pair on CandyShorts see none of it.
The bill for the rest of the summer
The remaining three episodes cost 30 tokens apiece, so 90 tokens reaches the end, and a month of Premium on Candy.ai includes enough to cover it. The token plans have their own page.
Should you start here?
Start here if you like a confident mentor and a rookie out of his depth. Skip it if you want a twisty plot, since the opening pair is a setup and a drill. For another story built on lessons, Private Lessons has Mia Malkova's twin teaching yoga. For a lead of this type at greater length, YES MA'AM runs 27 episodes.
