Episode 1: the favor and the Pilates plan
Subtitles on, I watched from a free Candy.ai account. The narrator opens by pointing out a strikingly attractive woman, his best friend's stepmom. He greets her as Miss Veronica, and she says Gerald told her he was coming, though Gerald turns out to be out for a while. Then Holly shows up for Pilates, and Veronica checks that it is still the plan. Someone asks for a minute to change, and the compliments start: his abs, and how good he looks in his outfit, which earns a flustered reply. The episode ends on a wager between the women about which of them gets him first, and the answer is a dry "Try your best."
Episode 2: hands on a Pilates mat
The second episode opens with a question about whether he works out, and a tease that "her eyes are up here, tiger." He says he should get going, and is told not to go yet. One woman asks him to help her lower thighs and back, which are tight, and to press where she shows him. Then it is the other's turn, with sore shoulders and a request to press deeper. A jab that he is getting too close to one woman's chest starts the rivalry, and the two argue over whose figure is more natural and whose is bigger. The episode closes with a suggestion that they settle it by comparing, and an easy agreement.
A contest with him as the prize
The shape is a contest in which he is both the prize and the judge. The free pair sets the terms, a bet in episode 1 and the first round of comparison in episode 2, and then stops. The setup asks which of the two he will choose, between Veronica's confident charm and Holly's playful energy, and that choice sits behind the Candy Shorts paywall. Four names are in play: the narrator, Veronica, Holly and Gerald, who is only mentioned. The narrator has no name in the dialogue. The subtitles do not say who speaks the bet or the sharper jabs, so I keep those lines without a speaker.
